Valhalla Mixed martial arts
Valhalla instructors have completed an extensive, instructor certification program.
Beginning at the intermediate phase (Year 2-3 of training) and continuing on through black belt.
Those interested begin with an apprenticeship, warming-up classes and assisting beginners as interns. After one-two years have elapsed, and they've attained a deeper level of technical understanding, they may become assistant instructors, teaching prescribed segments of classes under the direction of a Valhalla Instructor.
After they've earned their black belts and have completed the mandatory (3 year) instructor certification program, they may then take the Valhalla MMA instructor certification exam.
Valhalla MMA has instructors in Florida, Michigan and San Jose, Costa Rica.

Valhalla MMA is Martial Arts Academy and Fight Promotion located in Port Charlotte, Florida.
We are family owned and independent in all aspects of our business. The gym, fight promotion and our sanctioning body (Sparta Promotions). We welcome everyone regardless of system, gym, or affiliation.
Valhalla will NEVER seek-out or recruit students or fighters from other gyms/academies.

FIGHT PROMOTION:
Valhalla MMA provides a quality, professionally organized platform, where local and surrounding area fighters can showcase their skills and gain experience in front of friends, family and a live hometown audience. We promote local MMA events every three months.
Our promotion is sanctioned by the Florida State Athletic commission. We welcome fighters from all systems and backgrounds to compete under state mandated rules and the highest safety standards required.
All Strikers, Grapplers and MMA Fighters are welcome to compete in our events.

Since 1998 we've taught thousands of students, promoted many black belts, instructors and have trained several state, regional and international Champions.
All of our black belts have trained many years to achieve advanced rank, in their respective arts.
We do not promote or use belts as rewards for kids, nor to maintain our student numbers. Progression is earned through hard work and dedication on the mat. Competence and proficiency are then recognized with hard-earned and well-deserved promotions.
Anyone looking for a quick "black belt" will not find that here.
